Hi Francois,

thank you for the reference, I also found a page called "Overview of the Scheme extension language"
in the TeXmacs docs which could be useful.

I will try to see a bit the scilab plugin, i actually never used it.

Yes. By using the "scheme:" format, you can display all what TeXmacs is
able to display. Doing so require to format the content on the plugin
side as a TeXmacs scheme tree (called stree in the sources).

Various plugins use it. The scilab plugin gives numerous examples of
math objects rendering via stree.
