Thanks, I was too sloppy. I will report it to the developer of that bibtex exportation.

I downloaded the official Debian build 1.99.9 with guile. I don't know whether for others tm-plain works. (I tried to import it in an empty file. It does not work either)

not render it correclty. It is simply a wrong BibTeX snippet. You have to
edit it in order to change \textbackslash into \ and \textbackslashinfty into
\infty

then should work as expected.

standard bibliography, I think I always use tm-plain. Can you describe what
happens if you use it?

I also find that the tex command for accents does not work well for bibtex
import in TeXmacs. I just wanted to show an example that if the title of an
item includes Expos\textbackslash'e, then accented é is shown incorrectly.

Expos\textbackslash’e does not seems to me correct even in TeX, it should be
Expos\’e no?

Can you post an full example to show the problem?
