Most programmers involved can't/won't work on the GUI
for a variety of reasons.

Dedicate it to whom? No one wants to do it, at least
not right now.

As I said, I'm sure TeXmacs will get there. But the
time obviously isn't now.. and this thread is useless
because of that.

When I learn gtk/scheme well enough to undertake the
task, I'll post here about it. Maybe by then you or
other programmers will have the time to help out.
