I am not quite sure how to parse this phrase. If you run X11 via Apple's X11.app, TeXmacs mixes quite nicely with the Aqua desktop (apart from a couple of bugs of this early beta version of X11.app which should soon be fixed). Both with X11.app and with the new XDarwin-4.3.0, one of the main problems of TeXmacs on MacOSX, namely its slowness, has mostly disappeared.

As Mac Users are usually NOT Latex people AND
still fed up with MS Word & equations, a more native
port could broaden texmacs user base significantly...

I agree, it would be very nice if someone could do a native Aqua port. But I wouldn't hold my breath. Using the same kind of generalization as you do, I would say that Mac programmers capable of doing such a port are usually not open source people.
