Just so that you wont forget it ;-) I still have this problem with TeXmacs 1.0.6. I have tried to convert my pdf figures to eps (via .ps) but ghostscript reports an error, so the suggested solution does not work for me.
The figures show up fine inside side TeXmacs, but when I try to export to pdf or ps, I get blank pages, where I have used pdf figures. If the figures are large (and you use a slow viewer) you can sometimes see them in a short moment, but they dissapear quickly again and they seem to be sized differently (bigger) than they should be.

The version of gnuplot you are using generates
PDF 1.4, and it seems that TeXmacs handles only
PDF 1.2 as far as the printer output is concerned.
So it is in fact a problem with the PDF
dialect TeXmacs understands :-(...
This is probably the kind of stupid problems
that could be solved by changing a few lines
in the code, but it is difficult to follow
all the details of all the evolutions of
all the standards (namely, the PDF format).
Thus sometimes, problems present themselves as
bugs...
But now that this one has been discussed on the
mailing list, we will remember it, so sooner or
later, someone will look at that.
So thanks to the current thread, the problem
is half solved :-).
