Don't know :-(

I know one way to do it. Probably it's not the best way.

To resize a plot, put the cursor just after the image (the red line will have
the same height than the image) and press once backspace, you will get on the
screen this:

<postscript|<tuple|<raw-data>|ps>||||||>

Imagine that you want to reduce the size of your plot to 80% of the original
size. In this case you must add *0.8 to that line:

<postscript|<tuple|<raw-data>|ps>|*.8|||||>

and press Enter.

You can distort the plot if you want:

<postscript|<tuple|<raw-data>|ps>|*.8|*.5||||>

In this cases *.8 is how the width of the image will change, *.5 the height.
The rest are the left, lower, right and upper borders.

Have you noticed that in your document you typed:

f(x)=(1-sqrt(1-x^2))**(x<1)+x*(x>=1)

instead of

f(x)=(1-sqrt(1-x^2))*(x<1)+x*(x>=1)
?
