Texmacs maintains only one set if pagination and label information.

Normally you should document->update-all four or five times but of your edit page style is papyrus then thus won't be enough and you must re-export .PS or .PDF each time as well.

I don't have an answer to your other question , sorry

Hi all,

First, I apologize if my recent flood of emails isn't welcome. While I've been using and enjoying TeXmacs for years now, it's the first time I'm using the more advanced features since I've got a shiny new 40-pages report to write, so I've got some questions for you!

When I generate a table of contents, I have to *first* generate a new PDF *then* update the table of contents, and *then*, re-generate a PDF with the updated table. If I don't do it like that, page numbers are inaccurate. Is that the intended behavior? I can understand that you first need to typeset the whole document before gathering page numbers, but isn't there a way to just click "Update" once and be done with it?

Also, is there a way to add a button to the toolbar? It would be really nice to have some features available in one click (centering text or updating automatically generated content for instance). I don't mind editing scripts, but can you give a few hints as to where (which file(s)) I can do that?

Regards,
François-Xavier
