But in fact i don't have any texmacs.bin in my local bin texmas file. The texmacs file needs the bin file which wasn't created during the compilation.

What i don't understand is that i didn't get error messages.

Last time i compiled texmacs for my laptop i worked like a charm but could never manage to get a running svn version under my PC.

I'll try another compilation process tonigh and see xhat happens.

HI marc,
I think you forgot to set the TEXMACS_PATH or you set it wrongly. I assume
you've just compiled texmacs and want to run it without having made any
installation.

What you must do is to set the TEXMACS_PATH and then simply run texmacs.bin.
Have a look at the steps below to see how to set and let me know what happens.
