To paste it so that TeXmacs recognizes it as a macro, use the menu:
Edit->Paste from->TeXmacs
There is also the indication of JvdH that a table can be broken across
pages, so you can try the suggestion of Basile (first answer to your
initial request).
I do not know how to turn that into a macro so that adding a new row to
the table you would get a 5-mm indent on the left column (and no
workaround comes immediately to my mind). Perhaps someone else does.
