I asked the LLM how to do it, and since it talked about pinning and I had already heard the word/concept, I trusted it.

To me it seems sensible, but since I don't know how pinning works, I don't know if it is correct or not. Perhaps it would be good a recipe from the developers or a modification to the TeXmacs repository so that apt sees the repository package as newer than the default Ubuntu package.

How did you manage to do that?
Right now, if I run "apt-get update" it wants to replace the TeXmacs from the
TeXmacs repository with the older version in the Ubuntu repository.
