Giovanni,
I think we need some experimentation to understand which setup fits
well with TeXmacs.
One important issue in my view is the contribution policy. I would see
as good a liberal one: give commit rights to everyone who made a
sensible significant contribution to the wiki, so that they may
contribute as they see fit (I hope it is technically realizable in the
current wiki, or that the necessary changes to the current organization
are possible). This has a double advantage in my opinion: it encourages
participation and, since a wiki grows well with many small
contributions, it reduces by much the work for the wiki maintainers.
I got the idea from here some time ago:
https://opensource.com/life/16/5/growing-contributor-base-modern-open-source
(I reread it quickly and it look like it is the place where I found it
for the first time). It is set as a policy here:
https://github.com/Level/community/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md.
Maybe one could get commit rights after just the *first* sensible and
valuable contribution.
