On the other hand, the primary source of information for these kinds
of tricks is this very mailing list. Thus without even noticing it,
you solved the first part of this "information missing" problem !

This being said, perhaps should we have a "trick" page containing the well
known (and infamous) useful tricks (removing the .TeXmacs is definitely
one of those...).
