hi everyone
so :
- for maxima, it seems that there was no "maxima" in the application folder;
i dowloaded it here
http://andrejv.github.com/wxmaxima/
then i installed gnuplot, maxima and wxmaxima
wxmaxima seems to work when i lauchn it as an application, i type 1+1 i
obtain 2, i ask for the graph of x^2 i obtain it
thougt, in texmacs, if i selct "insert>maxima session" i obtain something
saying "en cours" what in english should be translated by "running" and
nothing else; if i type 1+1 followed by return or page break or shift return,
i obtain nothing
how can i use maxima in texmacs ?

- for spreadsheet, i followed your advice and selected "insert>session giac"
then it seems to work, but if i type spreadsheet("name_of_file") i dont know
what sort of fil i must give, i suppose that no excel nor Ooo fil can match,
so what ? how to create a simple sreadsheet with 6x4 cells for example...
Where to find a help on this topic ?
in the same way, how can i find a manual fin order to know how the function
geo2d works ?
