Dear Stephen,

As a temporary workaround you could try to use Bibtex to parse the
bibliography instead of TeXmacs' internal parser, which is used for
styles starting with "tm-". So, if I change the style from "tm-plain"
to "plain" (and refresh) the author names show up.
