Hi,

I run Windows XP home edition (without service pack 2). I unzipped texmacs
in my Shared Documents folder. When I double clicked on tmwin.exe it gave me
an error: Failed to open registry. How can I get around this error? I looked
in the INSTALL and README files but I found nothing of help.

Hello everyone,

For all those out there that wish to volunteer for alpha/beta testing of
WinTeXmacs, you may find it at
ftp://ftp.texmacs.org/pub/TeXmacs/windows/unstable/ .
There is no installer, it is simply a directory structure.  You may run the
main program (tmwin.exe) in the TeXmacs/bin directory.  Please post any bugs
you find to address@hidden or address@hidden .
