7-zip is an LGPLed software which supports a variety of compressing and
archiving options. http://www.7-zip.org/

I have ghostscript and gsview installed on my system so maybe that is why I
do not get this error. You can get ghostscript and gsview at

6. I have windows versions of maxima, mupad, scilab, R and octave. How do I
make texmacs for windows recognise them?
